The Competition
Six week season starting as per the above dates.
From 5pm for 6pm start
Teams of 3: Lead, Second, Skip - with substitutes allowed as we know it's difficult for everyone to commit to 6 weeks.
Matching outfits encouraged (flat soled shoes only or bare feet)
The overall winning team for the night cannot win 2 consecutive Thursdays.
No more than one full club member per team and that player must play as Second in the team.
The Format
2 games of 4 ends.
Each player plays two bowls per end.
If each team wins one set or if both sets are drawn, a tie-breaker is played to determine the winner of the game.
The winners each week will be determined on the number of sets won and then the number of points.
